Schwinn has designed this all purpose child trailer to meet the needs of parents that want one solution to their exercise/child care needs. The Schwinn Joyrider Trailer will safely transport either one or two children, up to a maximum weight capacity of 100lbs. It has all the comfort and safety of a high end bicycle trailer combined with easy conversion to either a walking or jogging trailer. It also looks great too....another nice plus.

Constructed of rustproof aluminum, the chassis of the Schwinn Joyrider trailer is very durable and comes mounted on a solid pair of 20" alloy wheels. When you have it set up for bicycle trailer mode, the Joyrider employs a versatile hitch arm that will connect to just about any bicycle on the market. This allows you to bring the kids along on a nice Sunday ride and have them ride in style, safe and sound.

If cycling isn't your thing then the Schwinn Joyrider includes a smaller 10 inch diameter "stroller" wheel and a removeable handlebar. This allows quick conversion from bicycle trailer to a walking trailer. If jogging is more your style then the Schwinn Joyrider has you covered there and includes a 16" jogging wheel as well. How cool is that, superior versatility compared to many child trailers and best of all, when not in use the Schwinn Joyrider folds flat for easy storage.

When it comes to the kids, you can bet they are riding in style. A removeable, washable seat pad is included with the trailer and it also sports a 5 point harness for absolute safety. The canopy gives your trailer a unique look and provides a very roomy and comfortable interior space.

Loaded with extras, a bad weather canopy is included that easily zips in for quick changes. Well ventilated and well designed, the canopy will keep your children out of the elements and protected from the sun or the rain and as if this wasn't enough, the seat reclines for when your little ones need a nap on the go.

Schwinn Joyrider Bottom Line

You could certainly spend more money on higher end trailers than the Schwinn Joyrider as it is mid-pack when it comes to price but the value that the Schwinn Joyrider brings is tough to beat. Schwinn provides the essentials that you would want from a child bicycle trailer and the quality is decent. The Joyrider weighs in around 30lbs so it isn't a lightweight but the extra weight is due to the extra roominess and the durability of the frame and chassis system.

You could spend more, you could spend less but either way the Schwinn Joyrider bicycle trailer is a good buy in the mid-range spend class and should serve you well for quite some time.
