Six plus inches of travel make the Marzocchi All Mountain SL a Beast!

If you are one of those downhill, banzai kamikaze freaks then you realize exactly how important the right fork is for your bike. The tougher the downhill, the better your fork needs to be.

The Marzocchi All Mountain is one of the most loved downhill forks on the market at present and is designed to be able to tackle just about any mountain. The All Mountain offers outstanding performance if you compare it with most of it's peers, especially because of its features that let it to be a winner on both the climb and descent of the ride.

This long travel mid-weight downhill beast is one of our favorite forks in this category. Marzocchi built it's name on producing a trail tested tough shock that can turn the harshest bumps into a walk in the park. Ok, that might be a slight exageration but you get the idea.

The Marzocchi offers air-sprung, open-bath internals with adjustable travel from 120mm all the way up to 160mm for the toughest terrain! For all you non-metric system geeks, that is just over SIX inches of travel....wow. The only downside that we saw was that the 32mm front fork legs left us wanting a little bit more. I will admit to being favorable to beefier fork legs as they make the bike just track better in my mind but maybe it's my imagination. The Marzocchi handles the tough stuff just fine, but we'd still like beefier fork legs.
